After a session happens (or if it won't), you mark it complete or cancel it from the sessions tab. This guide covers both.

💡 Tip — Who can use this For advisory partners, on a client's Sessions tab.

Quick reference

Step Action
1 Mark Completed (with a post-session log) or Cancel

Step 1 — Complete or cancel

Open a session's detail view. For non-completed, non-cancelled sessions, you can:

  • Mark Completed — opens a post-session log form where you record attendees, discussion points, decisions made, and a follow-up date. Saving completes the session and records the log for the client to read.
  • Cancel Session — cancels the session. The client is notified.

📝 Note — Completing records the post-session log Marking a session complete prompts you for the post-session log. Fill it in — it becomes part of the client's session history and is valuable for continuity. Don't skip it.

💡 Tip — Cancel promptly if a session won't happen If a session needs to be called off, cancel it in Fortis Pulse rather than just not showing up. Cancelling notifies the client and keeps the compliance tracking accurate.
